The Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry (TSMU), in collaboration with the Georgian Association of Pharmaceutical Students (GAPS), recently hosted students from the TSMU Faculty of Pharmacy.
During this introductory information session, the Institute's research staff shared insights into their daily workflows and the institution's unique, long-standing scientific traditions.
The students toured several key facilities, including:
Modern Research Laboratories;
The Herbarium and Vivarium;
The Experimental Production Base, where they observed the drug manufacturing process.
Notably, they were briefed on the ongoing full-scale renovation of the production base. This project aligns with the Institute’s new strategy to meet international HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
