New Store Based on Japanese Concept Opens in Tbilisi Featuring TSMU Bio-Herbal Oils
A new store based on the Japanese concept has opened in Tbilisi, featuring a variety of new Georgian bio-herbal oils produced by the Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry (TSMU).
The store, named "One Village One Product" (O.V.O.P.), was established within the framework of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project in Georgia, in collaboration with the Rural Development Agency.
In addition to the herbal oils, the store showcases a diverse range of agri-food products and handcrafted items from various regions of Georgia.
The opening ceremony was attended by:
Giorgi Avaliani, Acting Director of the Rural Development Agency;
Ishizuka Hideki, Ambassador of Japan to Georgia;
Junji Wakui, Resident Representative of JICA in Georgia.
About the Project
The goal of the "One Village, One Product" project is to promote the production and sale of local, traditional, and unique products by utilizing indigenous raw materials and resources.
