Experimental-Industrial Base

The Experimental-industrial base was founded in 1966.

The Experimental-Industrial Base’s functions include: technological processing of compounds and dosage forms provided by the institute. Creation of production regulations and normative-technical documentation based on the obtained results, allocation of biologically active substances for chemical and pharmacological studies, production of medications for clinical approbation.

The industrial base uses local herbal raw material to produce its medications, which explains their low cost, high competitiveness and high sales.

Due to great demand for original medicines of herbal origin, the medications produced by the Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry are registered not only within Georgia but abroad as well.

At present various pharmaceutical companies and enterprises show increasing interest in original medications. Demand for such drugs is already considerable and they have already taken their place on the market.

The industrial base produces original medications for wide consumption, namely: Caripazym, Flaronin, Colchicinum, Fatsifloginum, Rhodopes, Bentobili, Psoranthron C, Ginko-Bathi, Tsarubol,Tribusponinum, Pssiflora Syrup, Causuronum.
