Tribulusponinum

Tribulusponinum the plant  - Tribulus terrestris L (Goksura (Punctuare Vine) (Zygophyllacae) the sum of steroid saponins.

PHARMACOLOGICAL FEATURES:  Tribulusponinum decreases reduce blood cholesterol level, blood coagulation, enlarges peripheral blood vessels, reduces arterial blood pressure, strengthens tonic contraction of intestines.

Tribulusponinum is an effective non-hormonal anabolytic  drug: it improves skeletal muscle trophism and as a result it generally strengthens tonic contraction, enlarges muscles, increases work ability and endurance performance.

THERAPEUTIC  INDICATIONS: Atherosclerotic blood vessels in brain, high cholesterol level in the blood; atherosclerosis when having hypertension, stenocardia when having atherosclerosis of coronary vessels and increased blood clot formation; atherosclerosis of mesenterial vessels with complicated atony of organs of the abdominal cavity, constipation, rehabilitation of patients, increasing sportsmen’s endurance.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE: is administered perorally (before eating), from 100 mg (min. dosage) up to 400 mg (max. dosage) three times a day during 21 days. Having a 4-5 break before eating. The treatment course lasts for 3-4 months, in case of necessity the course is prolonged or repeated after 3-4 months.   Tribulusponinum can be taken under conditions of in-patient as well as out-patient treatment.

SIDE EFFECTS: In separate cases the drug may induce nausea and vomit, which shall pass by decreasing the dosage or temporarily ceasing (for 2-5 days)taking the drug.

CONTRAINDICATION: individual sensitivity towards the medicine.

PRESENTATION: brown, mosaic tablets 0. 1 g. (100 mg.).

SHELF LIFE:  2 years.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light. The drug is included in “B” list.
